Competition Name
The name of the competition is the “ikeja Wireless R100,000 Giveaway” (“the Competition”).
Competition Period
The Competition runs from 1 November 2024 to 1 December 2024, ending at 23:59 (midnight) on the final day (“the Competition Period”). No entries received after this date will be eligible.
Acceptance of Terms
By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Eligibility Requirements
The Competition is open to residents of the Republic of South Africa who are 18 years or older and meet the following eligibility criteria as current ikeja Wave customers. Please note that the ikeja Wave product is only available in certain areas of Tembisa, Gauteng. Therefore, only prospective and currently installed ikeja Wave customers within the coverage area are eligible to participate.
- Waiting for Installation
- Entrants who have: – Upgraded from ikeja Prime to ikeja Wave and completed the required payment for the upgrade; or – Signed up as new ikeja Wave customers, paid for their equipment and installation, and are awaiting installation.
- Already Installed and Active
- Entrants who are already installed ikeja Wave customers and have accounts up to date on monthly Wi-Fi payments.
- Ineligibility
- Employees of ikeja Wireless, their immediate family members (including spouses, life partners, parents, children, and siblings), and affiliates are not eligible to enter the Competition.
How to Enter
Entry is automatic for all eligible customers who meet the above criteria. No additional fee or registration is required.
Prize Details
- The total prize pool is R100,000, which may be split among multiple winners based on competition guidelines. ikeja Wireless reserves the right to distribute the prize pool at its discretion.
- Prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or any other items.
Winner Selection Process
- Winners will be selected by a random draw from eligible entries. The draw will take place on 2 December 2024 and will be overseen by an independent auditor or attorney to ensure fairness.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence regarding the outcome will be entered into.
Winner Notification and Announcement
- Winners will be notified within 48 hours of the draw via [phone call, email, SMS].
- The names of the winners may be publicly announced on ikeja Wireless’s official social media channels and website, subject to winner consent.
Prize Claim Process
- Winners must respond to the notification within 7 days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternative entrant.
- Winners may need to provide proof of identification and eligibility, including confirmation of their ikeja Wave service status and payment history.
Disqualification
Participants may be disqualified for providing false information, failing to meet eligibility criteria, or otherwise breaching the competition rules.
Publicity and Use of Personal Information
- By participating in the Competition, entrants agree that, if selected as winners, they will allow ikeja Wireless to conduct promotional activities, which may include visiting the winner’s residence to present the prize, publicly announcing their win, and using their image, likeness, and personal details in promotional content. This may include, but is not limited to, photographs, videos, and social media posts.
- Winners consent to ikeja Wireless using their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes related to this Competition for a period of two years following the prize presentation, without any further compensation or notice.
- By entering, participants agree to waive any rights or expectations of privacy or confidentiality concerning publicity for this Competition. Entrants acknowledge that all promotional material will be owned exclusively by ikeja Wireless, who reserves the right to use it as deemed appropriate.
- As entry to the Competition is automatic, any selected winner who does not agree to the above publicity requirements at the time of prize notification will forfeit their prize, and an alternative winner may be selected.
Data Protection
ikeja Wireless will take all reasonable measures to protect the personal information of participants and comply with South African data protection laws.
General Conditions
- ikeja Wireless reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice, should unforeseen circumstances arise.
- ikeja Wireless and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from participation in this Competition.
- Any disputes arising from this Competition will be resolved in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
Independent Oversight
The draw will be overseen by an independent auditor or attorney to ensure fair and impartial conduct.

These Terms and Conditions are available on the ikeja Wireless website. They will remain accessible for the duration of the Competition Period.
