The signal is weak when I connect. What can I do?

Why does it sometimes feel like it’s taking forever to post that funny meme on your timeline?

A weak signal could be because of a number of things ranging from how close you are to the hotspot to an issue with the tower.

To rule out distance, try moving closer to the pole and see if the connection improves or stays the same. If it’s still bad then WhatsApp the hotspot support line on 066 472 1628. Our technical support team will work with you to figure out what the issue could be.

The team will ask for 1, 2 or all 3 of the following information:

  • Your hotspot User ID (found at the bottom of the ikeja login page)
  • A photograph of the last voucher you were able to load.
  • Your device MAC address

If we cannot solve the issue remotely we will then have to send out a team to check out what the problem could be with the hotspot πŸ‘·.
